It’s not too often that critics like a popular band. Or that a popular band becomes so critically acclaimed. Maybe Radiohead, but we’re not talking Rolling Stone Magazine. I ended my relationship with RS after they put Clay Aiken on the cover.
No, I’m talking about Super-Critics. Stereogum, Pitchfork, NME, Q, to name a few. They all love this little, hard-working indie band, Manchester Orchestra from Atlanta. So does David Letterman, apparently . Their newest record, Mean Everything To Nothing, recently came out on Favorite Gentlemen/ Canvasback Recordings, and has been getting radio love from stations like The Buzz nationwide.
The album is one part Kings of Leon, two parts Band of Horses, and maybe just a dash of Bruce Springsteen
