Beautifully written, thank you. I drove from St. Louis to see the concert by myself and I wasn’t in concert mood because of my devastation over Michael, but I can’t think of anything else I could have been doing last night than sitting outside sharing my pain with someone who actually understood. Stevie is such a wonderful person and although I cried hard everytime he said Michael’s name or played one of his songs, I did enjoy the concert and seeing Stevie with his great sense of humor and just outstanding character. I can’t think of a better tribute to Michael. Thank you Stevie! I love you so much Michael! <3 <3

Once again, Brian, you put us there. But THIS is a masterpiece.

Tim Leiweke and AEG killed Michael. That’s the REAL story that needs to be told.
jojo
incredible show…best in starlight history.
Stevie was in prime form. Loved the Kansas
city rendition. I’ll remember this one concert
forever. Noone wanted to leave.
As far as smartman and his accusation aeg is
probably not involved in this. They said Michael
wnated that quack doctor on tour with him.
That doctor apparently has been with michael
for 4 or 5 years because he would get michael
the drugs he wanted.
But a cardiologist not knowing how to do
correct cpr? Doing cpr on a bed? What kind
of dr. was this ahole. AEG was going to
spotlight their new arena in london with these
concerts but 50 shows in that amount of time.
MJ never followed a complete tour because he
didn’t have the energy to do them because he
gave 110%. AEG had insurance and they should
make a claim for their losses. AEG is having
money problems right now. Remember they have
to paylosses at sprint aspart of their deal.
So i imagine they tried to cram those 50 shows
into as short a period of time aspossible.
AEG probably didn’t kill jackson. The devil killed him. Michael was fighting the devil
all his life and eventually the devil won out.

Thank you, Brian, for your detailed review. I feel I’ve come full circle–my very first concert was the Jackson 5 in Sept. 1971 (MJ and I were both 13), and Friday night was my very first Stevie Wonder concert; one I’ll never forget. When purchasing our tickets, not many of Stevie’s fans knew what was to happen a day before. It was an honor to be there.

Great notice, Brian. Makes me wish I’d been there. I think they’ll be talking about this show for years to come… and I missed it. Damn

Follow the money on this deal and every road leads to AEG. No way MJ was going to be ready for a 50 show grind, which according to sources, he thought was only going to be 10 shows. If he doesn’t make it to the stage who looks bad? AEG! AEG had an insurance policy in place in the event of death from causes other than suicide. Who comes out financially as a result of Michaels passing? AEG! By the time Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Geraldo Rivera are done kicking up dust AEG is bound to have some blood on their hands. Given the accounts provided by insiders of MJ’s physical and mental condition over the past 60 days their was no way he was going to deliver a stage show that would meet fan expectations. Had calmer and more mature heads prevailed this could have been avoided. I can’t believe that someone at AEG, given their investment in this project, didn’t know what MJ was up to every minute of every hour of every day.

In honor of Michael Jackson I’ve invited an entire cub scout troop to cone spend the night. Let me use my heart to love someone like Michael did.
