Adam is wrong. In fact you are almost always wrong when you make blanket statements. Saying athletes don’t lose their skills gradually is like saying all people die sudden deaths. Some lose it bit by bit some lose it all at once. You can’t say all are the same. That shows lack of knowledge.
The Chiefs should consider Brian Griese as a back up.
KK says the Chiefs are eventually going to go to the Super Bowl. WOW what a bold and sexy prediction. How risk taking. Here let me top it. I believe all teams will eventually go to the Super Bowl.

Well, I can tell you that the fans haven’t come back yet….
Last night we were at the Rod Stewart concert (no, not because I’m gay… keep reading…)
We went to high school with his drummer, and he is a BIG Chiefs fan – but he lives in LA and doesn’t get back very often.
So anyway, it comes time for Matt’s drum solo during the show – and he whips out this Chief’s Arrowhead and the croud goes fuck*** nuts with booing. Some of it was “Chieeeeeeffffs” but a ton of it was booing – so much so that Rod Stewart looked back at Matt and asked what the hell was going on that people were booing him.
Point of the story is that it’s going to take a LOT of caught D-Bowe balls to turn this turd around. I think even if they make 6-10 there’s still goign to be a crap-load of people skeptical.

I think it was obvious that Grbacs’ problem was that he had no real passion for football. We see these guys all the time that play it simply as means to get through college or get a paycheck but don’t enjoy it at all. And I don’t think Peterson would have acquired the guy if they knew that. I think Pioli has decided that this is definitely NOT the case with Cassel. New England, more than any other organization, seems to see to have psych profile for players(all there players seem to have at least two of these qualities cerebral, passionate,professional). I mean Grbac either hated football or was a major deprssive that required prozac. Cassel may not be anymore talented than Grbac but I’m confident that he will work harder at being a successful NFL QB.

I think I agree with you Tibor but explain Elvis crying. Other words if he didn’t have passion didn’t care…why would he have cried over a game? Also he tried to return to the game after leaving. Jake Plummer. He seemed to lack passion. Ricky Williams. Tons of talent. No passion as he has other interests.

Ok, I put my money where my mouth was last two years, as I predicted the Chiefs records and bet on them, the over under in Vegas….sadly was right, they stunk both years…they had nothing on defense or offense…
This year, boy, I like Matt, I watched him last year and I think he is the real deal…but we didn’t so far add much more to offense..not good..the defense looks much better…still need D lineman…so….I like the Chiefs and the over at 5 wins…predict 7 wins….if so thats a good start for the real test in 2010 season next year, where we need to win plus ten…its still shakey right now…need some talent to make it happen
