finally a book that you enjoy! since you like wonderboys— a strange plot at best— and i’m assuming that you want to become an author, you should read “how to write a damn good novel” by james frey. he understands how to create and write about characters better than anyone i’ve ever read. good review!

I’m sure you’ve read “The World According to Garp”. I find that to be an excellent example of a writer writing about his craft.
