I always liked Chicago, esp their song “Does anyone really know what time it is”.

The big screen idea is a good one, and actually come to think of it, why dont they have one already?
Every venue today has a big screen, it is THE WAY IT IS, IT IS REQUIRED. Has anyone seen that new screen in the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium? holy crap, it is as big as the field itself.
Great comments and ideas from one of KCs best.

Thank you Brian for being so candidly honest! We would never hear that from the Star. Same thing happened to me at Wicked. I really had my hopes up and I was seriously disappointed because I could not see anything. I hope the new performing arts building will bring us Broadway the way it should be seen.

mermaid that is a fact about the Star. The star used to be a GREAT source for news, but these days it is bought and paid for. The news over there seems like one big ad, this is especially true for the entertainment news. If Disney, or another media giant, is not producing the show, it will get very little coverage. They OVERcover some acts, while giving lil to no coverage on others.
A recent example of this is the Chickenfoot show. Although they did send the “overflow” reviewer to give his 2 cents on the show, before hand it iwas silent. Compare this to the J

oops…hit the wrong button sorry-
Compare this to the Jonas Bros thing(call it a concert if you want to). It was OVERcovered before hand, covered day of the show, and after the show it recieved a glowing review. This is what one might expect if it is being paid for, by Disney.
I could be wrong, it could be honest, maybe, maybe not, but it seems there is a trend of BS news coverage, kind of like the unbiased news on Fox, and other networks.
Maybe it is just a sign of the times in America. You can get the best justice you can afford, and if you are Disney you can get the best reviews money can buy.

Thanks for a real review of Starlight. I had season tickets for years but just got tired of the lack of volume and not being able to see anything as I was not that close to the stage. The early evening sun is a killer also. I would rather see my theatre or musicals inside but the big screen would be nice.
smartman
Bingo Brian! Improve the audio and visuals and figure out a way to deal with the folks at Starlight who can’t shut the fuck up for 5 minutes and it might be a great place to see a show.

Amen Brian! Ditto Smartman! I don’t understand why people at Starlight feel the need to talk and text during the performances whether they be plays or concerts.

Hey mermaid, Wicked was at the Music Hall, which is only about a third the size of Starlight. You still felt too far away and couldn’t see anything there?
