Not a huge Gailey fan but you can’t drive a car without tires. This could be a blessing in disguise for him. Being OC for the Chiefs this season could be a career killer not to mention what the stress would do to your health. I’m sure he’ll get enough dough in severance to tide him over until he finds another job in the NFL or D1. Next question is who in the hell would be crazy enough to take the job at this point?

Wow,worse than last year, same team pretty much, less Tony…Thigpen starts, with nothing else, after Brodie and Matt go down, by week four, this team has a real shot at l-l5 or worse…yes we did it we are the worst team in football and baseball, good job… and I was excited about Matt, but we got nothing else and had an F draft…Tyson who? Nothing from him so far…Chiefs are unwatchable, and Vegas took them off the board at season record of six wins, plus, that was free money NO MORE NOW IT WILL BE four, still a great bet on the under, sad, so sad, no baseball no football, go MU,KU….this mess will take years to fix

I have the dubious honor of being at the MIGHT ARROWHEAD for the 2nd lowest attened game in NFL history. It was back …. in the early early 80’s and we were playing the NY Jets, there only were 6000 or so people at MIGHTY ARROWHEAD that cold day ( the lowest attended game was a snow storm in Atlanta )( these are guiness book facts, check em ).
It was towards the end of December, the Chiefs sucked that year, but we won the game, again messing up The Chiefs getting THE FIRST PICK in the NFL draft pick. : (
Anyway the three of us walked around during the game viewing from all over, sitting
anywhere that we wanted to. At one point we were 5 rows up, behind the Jets bench heckling the sht out of Mark Gastninou
,,,, heehehehe :), we were all drunked up, and kept it up until MR GASTINOU stood up, turned around, and pointed at us to shut the fk up, but we just laughed UNTIL he appeared to be heaed for the stands… ..oops.. …heheheehe, we were just kidding, but it was pretty funny. BTW- I have never heckled again. This is a 100 % true story. I am aware he would not come into the stands ( BUT I thought of this incident when that hockey player, and that basketball player went into the stands after a heckler) anyway… the moral is “Make your words short and sweet, cuz you never which ones Mark Gastinou will make you eat. : )
I grew up a lil that day, and I stopped uttering BS words. I only have spoken what I am willing to back ever since.
THE POINT IS- we are headed back to those 6000 fans in atttnedance days if Lamars kid does not fix this.

i dont know for sure about all of this, but if the NFL salary cap comes off next year, we may share the same fate as the Royals reagrding ability to pay for talent.
The Yankess pay 300 million per year, the Royals acan only afford 60 million, it is crazy.
Someone asked why I brought up last years CHIEFS salaries. The reason I metioned it was to illustrate that Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are the YANKESS OF THE NFL.
Last year the Chiefs had the LOWEST SALARY IN THE NFL, while the cowboys had the highest.
IF the salary cap is removed and at the same time the fans abandon the Chiefs, and the revenue of the Chiefs is like the Royals due to small market…..: ( are we doomed?
If the Chiefs can not afford to pay what the cowboys do, the talent will leave us. This could become like the Royals vs The Yankees, no contest.
I hope the salary cap stays in place, it is the only hope we have.
