Lord, Chiefs fans here. I know you’re getting a lot of requests for stuff like jobs, and keeping family members safe who are in harms way and relieving all sorts of pain and suffering. I know some people don’t even think You exist. Might be a good time for a miracle Lord. A Chiefs smackdown of the Giants on Sunday would send a strong message that you’re still watching over us and that with You all things are possible, cause right now being a sports fan in Kansas City is like being in hell. Thank you Lord, You bless You!

On the surface, it appears offensive line would be where the Chiefs would concentrate in the 2010 draft. But, then, they have so many holes that they are actually in the “best available” mode. Although the OL is pitiful, a LT isn’t going to make as much of a critical difference as an elite RB. The idea that only four or five players from the current roster will be around next year is silly; where are the replacements going to come from, the free agent list? If the Chiefs are going to get better soon, it is on Haley and his staff to coach them up to an NFL level. If they can’t do that, they have no business in this league, because no team succeeds without player development.

Most pundits concur that half the Chiefs starting roster will be gone next season. That seems pretty drastic. I agree they will be in best available mode, or maybe they trade their first round pick and the second round pick they got from Atlanta for T-Gon and pick up 3 or 4 guys that can make an impact. Not an easy job for Haley-Pioli or anybody. They didn’t get into this mess overnight. It would have been credible of the new leadership to fess up at the beginning of the season that this was not going to be a good team. Screw the PR and just be honest with the fans…..for once.

Most of our past successful running backs including Larry were good because of the offensive line. We were much like Denver that the offensive line made average backs look good or great.
If you read the gossip rags Jeter is walking VD. He gave it to Jessica Alba and she’s given it to half of Hollywood. This was discovered when an ex boyfriend showed off her herpes scribe. So maybe Mackenzie Phillips is safer because instead of doing everyone she was just doing her dad.
All the critics have raved about Friday Night Lights. I just watched one episode and I didn’t get it. It was like a soap opera. Greg wasn’t there a storyline where one person killed another and then him and his girlfriend buried the guy? I think I saw that on Knots Landing like 25 years ago. The last youth related great show I saw was Freaks and Geeks which was realistic and awesome. Almost uncomfortably realistic.
