Come on…..obviously the real status symbol instead of these second rate performers would of been whoever got Craig Glazer to flip the switch. He is world famous, has a successful DVD, movie producer, author, and will eventually have a HUGE movie out. Without him these events are third rate at best.

Rick, don’t know if you are kidding, but not a bad idea. Glazer at least is a true KC guy, now living in KC, has done alot in entertainment not only in LA, but for Kansas City, the guy single handedly brought big time comedy to this town, not his dad, he did it. I used to go to Westport in the 80’s and see them, big names. Now many places bring in name comics, but he got it going.
I think his movie could be a biggie too. Lets face it Glazer is truely “Peck’s bad boy” he lives it. Its safe to say he gets more ink and radio then any Kansas City person maybe ever. So like him or not, he is entertaining and he does care about this town. So Rick I agree next year GET GLAZER. Go Craig, go.

Know what it would be so much fun to have Dare and Glazer at each of these events kinda vs. each other. I’m so sick of our goodie two shoes
attitude towards everything we do in KC, it hasn’t worked and these two guys have much more to offer than other outside names, who really don’t have anything to do with our city anymore. Besides it would add controversy and fun…get them for next year.

Hearne great idea, promote Dare/Glazer for next year, those guys are fun, these guys, good credits but boring. I love the Dare radio show, its bold and funny. Johnny’s funniest guest by far is Craig Glazer. Hey this makes a ton of sense if Glazer’s movie gets made too.

Hey I couldn’t agree more, lets get some style and guts going in kansas city, all these ‘nice folks’ have gotten us nowhere. Even Clever sucked, lets bring in some bad boy celebrities from here, why not. Dare is perfect, he does lots of charity work and gets too little credit. Glazer has done just about everything you can, guy likely woulda made a strong mayor, given a chance. Those two are at least cool, lets start being cool in KC instead of big geeks. Dare and Glazer good move.

Mermaid, I can assure you I am not Craig Glazer, I know who he is, went to SME with him he is a bit younger and now live in SF, and come to KC often to visit family and work. I think he is an interesting guy, why do you hate him so much?

Did I forget to say Craig is god? He should be mayor and he should get to turn on those darn plaza lights next year! And for all of you folks who have not been to his comedy club you need to go- he has the best acts and the nicest club. Oh I forgot don’t forget to read his book “The King of Sting”-give one to your friends and family for X-mas-It’s a very entertaining book!
