Upfront, director Guy Ritchie’s dynamic reinvention of old Victorian detective Sherlock Holmes and sidekick Doctor Watson.
To say Ritchie’s overloaded Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic creation would be an understatement.
He turned it into a bombastic sleuth adventure headlined by Robert Downey, Jr., Jude Law and their female interests Rachel McAdams and Kelly Reilly.

Jack you are great to point out what to see and what to avoide….usually I agree with you…sounds like this Xmas its Up IN The Air or Avatar…the rest sound B/C so thats too bad….but overall this year has been much better than the last several…last year only Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino was top notch…we have more nice movies this year…
