Kingfish In the early 1980’s, Wendell would join us for a cocktail or two at The Clarette Club, Mission, Ks. (fun dive) some evenings after the 10:00pm news was over when my band “Moonstone” was playing there. We played from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am as it was a private club then. He truly liked 60’s music… great person. Fun to hang wiht…Wendell’s cousin is Phil Anschutz, the head of AEG, the huge live music firm which co-owns the Sprint Center. Both from Russell, Ks.
