Fescoe sucks now just like he sucked when he was here before. Obviously the suits at 610 have no idea what they’re doing. Not many people liked him when he was here before and as I recall, most people were happy when he left and hoped he’d never show his face in this town again. I haven’t listened to 610 in the morning since they foolishly got rid of D.A. and I guarantee I won’t spend one second listening to it as long as that D-bag is on the air. And it’s not just because he’s a KU grad (although that doesn’t help) because you look at somebody like Bukaty who I think does a good job. As I recall, Fescoe isn’t even a Royals fan (he’s a Yankees fan??). So really, you’re going to have a talk show host who hates K-State, MU, and the Royals and you expect to get a decent audience? Brilliant!!!

I’m not sure that Rick Barnes is overrated or underrated or, maybe, possibly, approrpiately rated. I mean, the guy lures huge talent year after year, he has UT money and UT facilities to throw around and he has only won one outright league championship in any of the three elite conferences where he has coached (Big East, ACC and Big XII). He has one Final Four at UT despite having lured players like DJ Augustine, Kevin Durant, TJ Ford and on and on.
OK, so with resources, the cat can recruit but for all his recruiting acument, he sure does have precious little to show for it.

K-State looks legit and will be a TOUGH team to beat. But what happens when Pullen has a bad night? We’ll see you consisten the rest of the team can be.
The questions and the label of “soft” have come up before with Self’s KU teams this time of year. Boal, you’re a nice guy and I’m glad KK brought you in to give you something to do in your retirement years, but what history are you referencing to even speculate that KU may not win the Big 12?! 5 in a row is very impressive, and I will NEVER pick against Kansas until they prove otherwise.
Bill’s a smart guy and a great coach and he knows his team has a lot of kinks to work out. I’m guessing, as has happened the last few years, that the team will figure out how to be tough.

Fescoe has apparently decided in his first week back in KC to not only shout his favoritism as loudly and often as possible, but to build a good portion of his show around his Jayhawk-sided opinions. While a portion of KU fans may applaud this stance, I am guessing more fans (and many Jayhawks fans) are interested in fair and balanced sports talk from their talk show hosts

“there are only 2 things you need to know in college sports, KU BASKETBALL,,,, NEBRASKA FOOTABLL” ….” Just root for those 2 and you will go home happy most of the time.

tigers. However..i now live in kansas and i want
ku to win every game except the 2 or 3 that they play against mu.
Bill self is probably one of college basektballs
best coaches. He is a really a great guy.
When i told him i was an mu fan at sullivans
one night we talked about 45 minutes and i
made him promise me that he’d take it easy
on my tigers this year.
I don’t think ku wins it all this year. Theres
something missing..or there’s too much pressure
on the team to win it all. I can’t figure it
out but watching the cornell game it seemed that
noone but sherron came to play with intensity.
Maybe that changes as the season progresses but
once they play a team with guards who are good

I liked DA. I like Nick but more so when he was on in the evening. I was disappointed That Bill Maas wasn’t hired. I think 810 has GREAT behind the scenes talent that makes the on air folks look good. I really like Soren’s thing with going around the country and getting experts to talk on current issues. But I dislike Soren in general. I HATE all trivia junk.

on any given Sunday,,,,thats why they play the game,,,,, the ball has to hit the bottom of the net, some days they hit the threes and we are missing and not playing sharp enough. Who knows why. Thats the way the ball bounces.
A loss at this point is a good thing for a team who goal is to win the NCAA Dividion 1 Basketball Championship.
There are 2 season, this is the 1st season, the preseason, and I LOVING how my team looks.
There are games where we are hot ( Temple) and games when we are not ( today ) BUT …. I am a BBall expert. I have watched a lot of BBall, and This teasm looks GREAT. To a novice we may have looked stupid with the turnovers, but I liked what i saw, I saw was a team which needs some more practice, they need to tell the practicesquad to step it up. I like my passing, throwing, moving the ball around BBall team, BUT ….. What works in practivce easily, may not work agianst a team who has seen tape, and is waiting to grab those eraant passes.
NOW IS THE TIME to realize that.
Real teams are not like the practice squad … we must pass sharper ….. practice harder …. be hungry …..learn to hate lossing ……. HATE IT taste it that loss….. it is sour………
