About KU Football’s controversial kickoff chant… 
You know the one – “Rip his fucking head off!”
For several seasons – during the Mark Mangino Years – the student section at KU’s Memorial Stadium gleefully howled the slogan at the moment of truth during KU kickoffs.
Much to the painfully obvious chagrine, of course, of

college football makes my ass hair hurt. Snooze.

Once something becomes engrained in the student section’s “traditions,” it’s tough to make it go away. Very tough. I don’t see an end to this any time soon, which sucks if it begins to affect their viability as a telivision product.

The kids doing this don’t understand how this makes their school look; they just think it’s cool to yell the F-word in unison with thousands of their fellow students.
It needs to stop.

Thanks for confirming what I’ve felt for years. The Star is afraid to step on ku toes but more than happy to go balls out whenever they can to attack Mizzou and K-State.
