It doesn’t sound like this will be the soft and sweet Hero at Large movie that John Ritter made many many many years ago. As far as our training bra super girl that sounds like Natalie Portman from the professional. Some reviews have pointed out the little girl is a really good actress. And I’ve heard her age in the movie reviews range from 8-11. Currently she is 13.

Hey, I got my ass kicked at “Kick Ass.” Hoesn’t disappoint. Not that you couldn’t cut 10 or 15 minutes somewhere, as with most movies nowadays.
The girl really makes it work. She’s given the best lines and the coolest moves. She really can act and, more importantly, she’s likeable.
The film is probably more gory than funny, but some of the humor is found in the gore. I would guess that most any middle-school-age kid who really wants to see it, probably knows what they’re getting into…or at least won’t be permanently emotionally scarred. Interestingly, there’s not much sex and virtually no nudity. Take the kids!

Then take’em to the Plaza for a little after hours Kick-Assin. We saw the movie and couldn’t believe the 11 year old spitting out the c word and more.

Ah yes Rick, Natalie Portman in The Professional! I adore her. Love her in Beautiful Girls and Closer too. She’s a brilliant actress. Bad news is I saw the Sinead O’Connor video of Nothing Compares 2U recently. Sinead is a dead ringer for Natalie in that video. She ain’t lookin’ so hot these days. I hope NP ages better.
