It is about black kids. They get a shitty or no education. No family unit to speak of. No morals, manners or discipline. They wanna be ballers, dealers or rappers. The third generation of the Great Society isn’t too great is it?
How come Big Sexy isn’t cuttin’ PSA’s speakin’ to the little brothaz and sistaz about chilin’? Isn’t he the perfect roll model for black youth? Livin’ like a White Man in JOCO. Eatin’ unhealthy food, smokin’ weed and payin’ for his ladies like Tiger Woods.

I don’t recall anybody going out of their way to make sure I had something to do when I was a teenager. I had a job, sports, school. Friday nights were for my buddies and Saturday night was date night or hanging out with my buddies…again.
The problem with KC all goes back to, and is all on the feds getting involved in schools. The white kids left the district. The schools went to hell in a handbasket from a lack of leadership and support of classroom teachers by administrators. The inmates are running the asylum. This didn’t happen overnight and it sure as hell isn’t going to get solved overnight.
Unless a child has a strong family unit that is going to take an active role in his or her upbringing and education they are fucked. Forget the end of life death panels. Let’s just look at these kids when they’re fifteen. If they can’t pass a test just whack ’em then. Solve the problem on the front end. There is already a direct connection between intelligence and health. The smarter you are the healthier you tend to be since you understand the connection between health, diet, exercise, lifestyle, etc.
I think a lot of these kids have gotten the shaft and have been failed by family, community and society. I’m all for lending a hand but they have to want to change. I’m not seeing anything that tells me that the majority of these kids want to break the cycle.
