Greg, I like it, get rid of never to be remembered Jose. At least not remembered in KC. He is a good, not great ball player, and in todays market that means 5 to ten million a year, he got that. He would only help a good team down the strech if he is healthy. clearly the Royals are not yet a good team. So its time for him to go, he did nothing much for this team. He hit some meaningless homers on a meaningless ballclub. A last place team with no power hitter other than Jose. Greg its true this team could be good in 2012, but man, from what I’ve seen and you guys have seen, I would not go bet on it….right now this is a team with a loser image, hopefully that can change and soon, but so far lots of promises and THE FUTURE crap, none of it has come close to working out…this is still not a real major league team, they have to show us that first…it would be better for Jose to be with a real team, he may help, be happier and have his name connected to a top notch ball club as his career ends in two years.

Greg, you can mow your grass and take down quotes at the same time? Can you start attending my design meetings for me?

GH: HamMan, It’s a learned art form. I’m sure my neighbors long ago gave up trying to figure out why I’m talking to my hand with the Toro still running. This ain’t no 9-5 gig.

sure, jose likes to win when someone else is doing the heavy lifting. Unfortunately, he was given millions to be that guy.

No one, anywhere, respects a big mouth who doesn’t produce.

Keitz rails on Soria for 10 minutes at the top of his show — essentially telling Soria to get out of America if he doesn’t like our laws (referring to the AZ immigration law) — and you, Greg, don’t mention it?!?!

    I’m floored.

I was embarrassed for Keitz as his tirade came to a close… and of course he hung-up on the 1st caller who was about to take him to task for the complete and total idiocy that was his tirade. Alas, I didn’t get to hear the rest of the hour, but hopefully someone pointed out to Keitz how absolutely retarded his rant was.

And I was sooooo looking forward to a GHall-flavored KK-lashing.

    all this bullshit doesnt matter.
Even with players like jeter and pujols these
clowns could find a way to screw this up.
Until you get a real manager…this is all
just smoking a lot of dope.
Dream on my friends…dream about this team
having a chance at being a contender.
Dream on…with the idiots like yost running
this team we’ll be in 4th place again.
And to you jerkoffs who write this shit that
is exciting. You jerkoffs are satisfied with
winning 75 games. You jerkoffs are satisfied
with going 500 this season then wishing that
maybe in 3 years we’re playing for second
base…you losers are happy with mediocrity
and a “chance” to have a winner.
Its this same attitude that permeates the
    royals clubhouse….get close…maybe win..
    STEINBRENNER WAS RIGHT….WIN!
And this bunch of ragtag AAA ball players may
be close but come playoff time they’re watching
the games with the rest of us on tv.

Jojo until you have players your manager doesn’t matter. Torre was fired before the Yankees because he didn’t have the players…so he goes to the Yankees and suddenly he’s a great manager? No he had Jeter, Posada, Rivera, B. Williams…maybe the manager makes the difference between losing in the playoffs and winning the World Series…but that is on the assumption that players are already in place. I’m not sure why you hate Yost so much. He seems fine to me. Hillman didn’t seem to know what he was doing and I think everyone was tense as hell playing for him. I don’t think they are with Yost. I’m excited that Moustakas and Hosmer might be up next June, Kila can be the DH to start out…then maybe you have enough hitting that Getz’s glove can shine at second. Aviles or Betancourt one more year at short before Colon comes up. Give Gordon one shot at left…Podsednik if that doesn’t work out. Screw it at least there’s a glimmer of hope coming up. Will we be the Rays? I don’t think so. But if we’re not having to pay bad players 4-8 million a year to come here because we’re producing our own then maybe Guillen’s 3yr 36 contract can become a 4 or 5 yr 60-75 mil one and we can actually get a corner outfielder or something. Can’t hate on Royals fans for thinking the worst…but I think now is the easiest time in a while to be optimistic.

KC wants to be a winning town, no matter who plays on the team. If your daddy didn’t tuck you in at night and you still wet the bed, go play for someone else! We want to win, just like everybody else does! Screw the managers, think about the fans! Those guys that brave the 100 degree just to see you play! Win, win, win! We are counting on you, stop crying about a diaper change and hit the ball over left field fence!
