About this week’s Lady Gaga extravaganza at the Sprint Center…
“It was, uh, overall a good show,” says attendee Andy Lewellen. “My only problem with such a new entertainer is that they come out and they only have like six good songs.”
As evidenced by the 11 paragraph review in the Kansas City Star with but two scant sentences describing the songs that were performed.
“It was kind of like at the beginning the first two songs were good, then in the middle there was kind of a lull and then she ended the show back on top with four of her good songs,” says Lewellen, co-owner of Lew’s and The Well in Waldo. “Overall it was good – I just expected more out of her being the icon that she is – you know, the new Madonna.

Any guy who went to this show is a loser!

Saw it, just fair, she is no Madonna. Not at all. If Madonna was over rated and not beautiful, this girl is the ‘reality show’ version, cheap.

Interesting. The Star reviewer is an older dude in his 50s and I think sometimes is afraid to diss something very young and hugely popular. This show and gaslight anthem to name two.
Really?
This is your material for a column? What a turd. Ask one guy’s opinion of a concert? Really?
You mean 6 songs you know. If you like those “hits” you should like the others. They’re all basically the same. Not a dis, just a fact. So just ’cause you haven’t heard them somewhere does not make a lull. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves. No one sat down. That would constitute a lull.

Hmmm, one guy’s eyewitness account of a concert. That does sound a bit out there. Oh wait, that’s what everybody does.
