GH: I think the report by Landsberg on BottomLine is pretty accurate but I don’t think it means the station is in peril of financial collapse. Conversely, I have been amazed that WHB and KCTE have been able to continue to employ the number of people they have over the past two years while so many other radio stations have slashed staff and resources to skeletal-like remains.
Good people in radio, TV, print and every aspect of the media industry are losing their jobs and having to cope with career changes, depression and a host of crappy decisions that none of us would welcome into our lives. Employers like Union Broadcasting no doubt are unhappy about letting quality employees (and friends) go. I find no glee in any of these people losing their jobs. I

You know atleast when The King ran things, the Chiefs were entertaining. Now, their just boring. Yes, their 2-0, but they were the most boring 2-0 team I ever saw.
I fell asleep a few times watching those games.
