KC’s beleaguered newspaper is getting scooped so badly by the national media that…
It has had to fall back on its raison d’être to get a Chiefs story out that hadn’t been both pre-scooped by national media. So it settled for a column two weeks ago about the Chiefs not admitting that QB Patrick Mahomes even had a concussion.
So while it missed out on the opportunity to call out the Chiefs and fans for still doing the tomahawk chop and “war chant” at the recent playoff game against Buffalo – instead yesterday the Star jammed in “A story on Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, a Black man as the face off the NFL and Kansas City.”
Seriously?
Google Mahomes and the Chiefs and tell me who besides the Star editorial board is obsessed with Mahomes being black while representing the Chiefs?
Oh, I’m sure other media will get around to it…
Most readers and fans are far more obsessed with things like Joe Montana‘s take on Mahomes, Tom Brady and his recollections of retiring (forced out by former Big Chief Carl Petertson?) in his late 30s – as opposed to Brady stil playing in top form at age 43.
Never mind that Montana was more old school, partying hard up until the bitter end, where Brady seems obsessed with health and conditioning.
There are endless other stories, experts and football vets exploring every angle imaginable about Sunday’s Super Bowl for the Star’s microscopic sports staff to try and keep up.
For example, just prior to the Buffalo playoff game at Arrowhead, the only angle Star columnist Vahe Gregorian could come up with was some nonsense about the Chiefs not admitting that Mahomes had actually had a concussion.
Nice “gotcha” but did anybody care?
Slightly more maybe than Mahomes merely being black.
Cause before the Star cornered him and guilt tripped Mahomes into waxing politically correct, he was seen getting hammered and doing the tomahawk chop.
At this point in time, Mahomes is far too popular for the Star to try and cancel, so they have to cajole him and the Chiefs into waxing politically correct.
Hats off to the local newspaper of record for keeping us all in line.
And stay tune for more efforts to change the Chiefs name and fan cheers in the off season.
Anybody for changing the Chiefs team name to, “The Kansas City Football Team?”
Aft a friend informed me of the result sports latest debacle, decided to watch a replay.
Disabused/missing a second straight Superbowl (as every which will follow), I found myself grateful CG departed before becoming Charlie Brown to his Chiefs latest Lucy (9 – 31 leaves cleat marks – and a super scar; as Dims would say ‘forever impeached’), but unlike President Trump neither acquitted nor absolved.
2019, 2015, 1985, 1969… throw one more * the KC barbie, call it another $ucce$$ful year the pocket book. Once loved them ‘legit’ days pre-’69, as my Dodgers who were thence my team same. As the 2019 counterfeit Chiefs, 2020 bogus Dodgers too their title claim in 60 games… 37% champions, not “99 and 44/100% pure” as Ivory soap.
But enough of Milli Vanilli sport results, compromised elections, fake Presidents and news… let’s talk about ‘race’ – not for a pennant or the like – but ‘baiting’.
“Google Mahomes and the Chiefs and tell me who besides the Star editorial board is obsessed with Mahomes being black while representing the Chiefs?”
– guess it depends where you look – apparently robbed by white privilege again, KC… to wit:
‘Tom Brady Called ‘Racist’ on Social Media for Winning Super Bowl During Black History Month’

Meanwhile, DC, the salty tears losers lament even fell Joe’s hideout, a cellar-dwellers coalition: https://mobile.twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1358639149029470209
Epilog: everything today ‘fake’ (elections, news, any sports Championship since 1969), and Dims election steal successful, look for the current off-White House pressure NFL rig future Superbowls ensure outcome desired: sterling silver Lombardi Trophy found ‘racist’, replaced ebony hues trimmed sickle yellow/hammer red scheme…
😎
Yeah, the Star editorial board and suck up sportswriters likeSam Mellinger are the primary proponents of making sure we are all painfully aware of racial issues and imaginary American Indian publicity transactions…
All of that, years after worshiping at the alter of fans who dressed up for the games and got plenty of so-called ink for their efforts.
Oops, almost forget…
The Star did its big mea culpa earning it a pass on all things past ion terms of racial missteps, thus freeing them up to beat up on anybody else that crosses those now sacred lines.
Everything eventually passes; problems, hopes, dreams, people – unless you are a QB turned TE, and/or a QB turned SJW. An newest case ‘bleeding heart angst’ is now upon us: more ‘white privilege’ as interpreted by the ‘SJW’s of America’.
One white – one black – but alas no blonde…Peggy Lipton/’Julie’ having departed this mortal coil, ‘Mod Squad’ is no more. In it’s place, the careers two former NFL players – odd squad of a sort: Tim Tebow (white), Colin Kaepernick (black) – protagonist, and antagonist deux.
Tebow was widely praised while playing/aft by some due to his expressed religious faith, and denigrated by others for a lack of big time success (Tebow signed a contract as a TE recently.)
Kaepernick (pig sock adorned graduate ‘woe is me’ school social justice,) has not been signed – as anything. Aft refusing contract offer, finding no takers the entire NFL, and then being released, he pivoted to ‘victimhood’.
NFL paid him off in order to be done with him, rather than hear him whine. An result, his signature now goes $ettlement checks, attempt try subsist on the $20 mill he received couple years ago.
Well that’s the gist… this screams out for justice or at least KCC comments, obviously. Failing said, ‘me and my RC’ (more white privilege) shall take leave again, count all the extra money that I don’t have (result.)
Hang in there HC, KCC, whitey’s et al… hue rest assured, wrong will be righted 2022/2024, if not sooner.
Best,
Kerouac
