KU Football finally made some noise…
Kansas upset the mighty Texas 24-21 in overtime. It wasn’t pretty, but a major college upset is a major college upset. I understand its been like 80 – 1938 – years since KU beat the Longhorns!
Kansas State rolled over Baylor 42-21 to insure a decent post season bowl, but no, not a final four. That likely goes to the Big 12 Champ Oklahoma in a couple weeks. The Sooners are on fire.
Mizzou got spanked as usual. In the end it’s like I said on Day One:
Nobody really matters among area college football teams, but K-State will get a mid level bowl game.
I went 6-1 in college footbLL yesterday only losing the Utah game. However it doesn’t count on my record here since we didn’t get it posted in time.

Well sports fans you might have noticed PERFECT two weeks in a row…now 7 games over .500 and in the very good year group. I just think it took some time to see who was good and who was not so good in both college and pros…I didn’t get to get my college games up due to computer being out…so too bad, won all but one…yes it doesn’t count here. NO I didn’t pick KU but that was a not bet. I do like USC all the rest of the year…’bama’ is just too good for the rest….and number two is likely USC but with their terrible start no shot at final 4. OU has a nice chance and is playing very well right not…K State finishing strong for a decent bowl but no final four or championship games.

Can’t argue that one…I’m not a big fan of K-State always a nice little team that nationally never mattered…good coach or not. Hey kinda like the Chiefs..nice little squad.

I honestly didn’t notice. I was too busy trying to figure out how Missouri managed to run 110 plays, gain 740 yards of offense, control the ball for most of the game, be within 8 points at the start of the 4th quarter…..and get just blown out, 63-37. Gotta be some sort of record.
