Well folks, it’s over…
Donald Trump is gonna be the Republican nominee for president of these United States.
Tuesday night sealed the deal!
Trump not only won all five eastern states but crushed it.
He took down Ted Cruz and for good. Trump took every state by huge margins, while Cruz came in last in every state but one.
John Kasich was also a no show.
They both are now toast.
Now even the old guard fuddy-duddies at the GOP will have to back the Donald. He’s just too popular and will likely get to 1237. This will be close to becoming official after Trump takes Indiana next week.
Frankly, there’s no path to winning the nomination even at a brokered convention for Cruz or Kasich anymore. They’re just not electable in a general election and have no support to speak of.
And now that we’re done, can we dispense with all the silly, “Oh Cruz or Kasich can beat Hillary better according to some poll, while and Trump can’t?”
What a crock, that always was pure b.s.
Those numbers were and are impossible since neither of them can get their voters to vote for them even in Republican primaries.
The flip side of which is that Donald Trump will be a formable foe for Hillary and Bill come November. And make no mistake, this election will be a battle.
Next up: Who will Hillary pick for her vice president?
And who will Trump ride with as his co star?
Clinton should look at Bernie Sanders to be her VP if she hopes to win this thing. In some ways – with younger voters – he’s more popular than she is or Trump. Without Bernie the Dems may not get enough voters out to thump Trump!
Sanders is the reason Democrats have had more voters out than the Republicans thus far. If Clinton puts Bernie on the ticket it likely would ensure the win.
Trump’s in a tougher spot.
Because there is no clear second person that makes him a winner.
Once he considered Katich to lock up the nomination, but that’s not needed now, plus Kasich’s dirty tricks of this past week.
Kasich only would give Trump Ohio in the general election.
And Lying Ted and Trump are just too far apart and Cruz doesn’t really mean much anymore. He’s just not very popular anywhere but Texas.
So who’s left?
Perhaps Dr. Ben Carson. or Chris Christie.
Both are pretty well liked by all, and Carson being of color could help with the minority vote.
Would Bernie accept the V.P. spot? He just might.
Carson would for sure.
And in what likely will be a close race in November these choices may make the difference.
One thing’s for sure, Hillary’s not looking forward to running against Donald Trump.
He’ll expose all her faults on a daily basis and give her untold sleepless nights.
To my way of thinking, Donald Trump has already won.
He will be nominated by a party that said he had no shot and didn’t want him and he proved them all dead wrong.
Trump’s message is getting louder and more popular.
The violence at his events, his staff member pushing a reporter, hating on women, being a racist, a phony, not knowing all the issues….that’s all gone now. And he’s getting over 50% of female Republican voters now. His momentum is huge and he has the media behind him. That matters.
Hillary Clinton is still the favorite but not by much.
That could change.
And if Trump doesn’t win in November, he will exit being the most famous man on the planet.
Trump’s fame is equal to another man who ruled the media and was known throughout the world like nobody ever had been before.
Remember Muhammad Ali?
It’s funny, Trump names his opponents, like Lying Ted and Little Marco…just like Ali did.
Remember The Bear, The Hare, The Gorilla…then Ali beat all of them. Just like Trump.
Well, Trump has one left and that’s Hillary Clinton.
However, she won’t fall so easy. It’s gonna be a horse race for sure.
The real winner might be America.
Trump has exposed many faults in the system – the way we handle the economy and making America stronger – just like Bernie Sanders has.
If Hillary hopes to win, she will be forced to see and do things differently.

I think I predicted this a year or two ago: Hilary’s VP choice will be Cory Booker. She needs to get the black vote out in something approaching the numbers that Obama did (even if she can’t equal that high turnout).
Further: Booker will help turn out the 20 somethings, who ain’t exactly too excited about a stand-for-nothing old battle axe out of the past like Hilary.

Why Trump and why not Hillary? Perhaps the media has finally been had, and their efforts to keep the bad news about Hillary out of the press, along with Bernie playing by the Marquis of Queensbury Rules, has shoved Hillary’s bad news into the general, where Trump owns her, literally, based on his contributions to her charities, as well as campaigns. The age of Bill and Hillary may have come and gone, but I will not be the one to preside over her funeral. It still may be premature. I do not pretend to second guess the American voter, the Supreme Court, or children under the age of five. I stick to the easier choices like Royals repeats and the stock market.
I know it is the rage, this campaign for President, but I am sick of it. The sound of Presidential Candidate voices grates on me like fingernails on a chalk board, and the candidate haven’t even been elected yet. Oh what is to become of me over the next four or eight years? Probably the lock ward if I get too involved.
What I do know is this. Ms. Clinton needs to understand that it is nobody’s turn. She has not been coronated, and outside of Democrat superdelegates, nobody believes it. The electorate owes you nothing. More and more, this election is about New York politics, probably because both candidates are from New York, and there ain’t no such thing as a tie. It begs the question whether or not the other 49 states get any representation at all.
It is Congress that matters. Really? Nice try, but the results of idiocy and dishonesty are actually the same. Although in the last poll, a survey of seven people in New Jersey, 54% want the ACA repealed and replaced. Dr Carson must have performed surgery on the Republican clowns in the Senate, but his surgery was a little low. He removed their cojones. Fearing a shutdown, those Senators judged that Republican voters would support them anyway. Maybe yea and maybe nay, and Democrats seem to think that Independent and Republican minds will magically alter, and, even though over half of the Democrat votes for the ACA are already gone, voters will forget who passed and signed it. As I said, the difference between malicious action and no action often produces the same results.
If Donny does win, there are a whole lot of liberals I will want to say goodbye to before they leave for Canada. I do have to remind them that, based on liberal thinking, they will have to have their income taxes paid before they leave or their passports may be cancelled. It seems odd that we can cancel a pasport for failure to pay income taxes, keeping the tax scofflaws in the country, along with their money, but we can’t seem to cancel the passports of those who go and train with ISIS.

Um, the majority of the taxes you listed are not federal taxes and/or wouldn’t even apply to the vast majority of Americans. They’re mostly state and local taxes which corporate prostitutes/future lobbyists like Browback, Jindal, Walker, Abbott, etc. love to rely on when their massive tax breaks for big business and the wealthy bankrupt their state. We’ve had a national debt since the founding of this country (2/3 of our current debt was run up by Reagan and the Bush boys with plenty of help from McConnell/Ryan etc.). A century ago we were at the doorstep of the Gilded Age which helped usher in the Great Depression. We had the largest middle class in the world 50 years ago when income and corporate taxes were much higher than now. What happened was on November 4th, 1980 the country was hoodwinked by a senile extremist (who also cut a deal with the Ayatollah to delay freeing the hostages and essentially committed treason, but that’s another story) who ushered in a philosophy that continues to this day in both parties that by somehow allowing multi-national corporations and the extremely wealthy to essentially dictate policy that we’ll all be able to benefit and all our problems will be solved. Of course since that hasn’t happened I guess it’s now time to relegate women back to being second class citizens. That will fix everything.

His argument is that voters still care about accomplishments in a purple state like his own, not abrasive rhetoric that heaps blame on both parties.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) plans to distinguish himself by leaning on his national reputation as a two-time presidential hopeful himself. His opponent, Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-Ariz.), is working diligently to tie the 2008 GOP nominee with the favorite for the 2016 nomination.
“My name ID is 100 percent. They know me, so they’ll be making their judgment on me rather than anybody else,” McCain said of Arizona voters.
Not everyone is eager to show their hand about how they intend run alongside, or against, Trump. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who quipped about a campaign of “The Ronald and the Donald” last month, declined to discuss the matter on Wednesday. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) similarly rebuffed questions about how he’d run with Trump at the top of the ticket and said he had “stopped analyzing” the unpredictable presidential race.
Even senators who are shoo-ins for reelection want to wait until the die is cast before speaking of Trump as the presumptive nominee.
“People are still deciding that,” said Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) “I’ve really not gotten into the race. Obviously, I’ve got one vote like everyone else does in my state. I voted in our primary.”
So who’d he vote for?

I would suggest from a business standpoint that glaze spend more time

Newsflash for you, Glazer. This election is not going to be close. Trump has already irrevocably pissed off vast swaths of the American voting public including people who have voted Republican in the past.

We were out in force last night in California. Intimidation, riots and violence were the happy themes of the night for we Social Justice Warriors. People were hurt, a few of we brave souls were arrested and the threats to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly are real and bloody for those who don’t adopt the Liberal/Progressive/Main-Stream-Media narrative that our thought leaders present. We attacked police cars, police and threatened any citizens who disagree with our position against Donald Trump. We intend to riot, intimidate, injure, assault and if we can get away with it, kill anyone who disagrees with we Better Angels on the left.
Our power, as Mao says, stems from the end of a gun barrel and supercedes that of the Constitution (Formerly known by the Left as a “Living Document” it is now being purged from history by way of Common Core and the more enlightened writings of Saul Alinsky.).

Great comments. Tomorrow might be the end of all this leading to the general election. If Trump wins in Indiana that should be that. Question is will Cruz step down. Even the GOP old guard might want him to quit now. Kasich is out of money and just wants to hang in there for a slim shot at the convention b.s. Of course that’s Cruz’s hope, but it seems unlikely the old guard will back either of them even if Trump falls short. I think he will have enough delegates to win on the first ballot. A win tomorrow kinda locks that up putting him near 1100 delegates needing just over 100 more with California and other states in play to get that done. Hillary is in the same boat. Just seems time to let those two go at it. Right now its looking to be a close general election come November.
