DEADPOOL is definitely NOT a kid-friendly Marvel movie character adaptation!
Maybe, ANT-MAN WITH SEX?
Yeah, that’s the ticket—up to a point.
So how do we do justice to Marvel Comics’ most unconventional and lesser known anti-hero?
Simple.
By predicting that he’s about to become a household name.
He’s Deadpool – a.k.a. Wade Wilson – who before becoming a super hero of sorts was an underground mercenary. But when cancer set in he finds himself recruited by a secret research group with promises of a miracle cure. Instead he is hideously disfigured and ends up with an unstoppable human force.
The key element here is human, but with some of the funniest and raunchiest lines ever to come out of a super hero’s mouth.
Deadpool is perfectly portrayed by Ryan Reynolds who also co-produced this action comedy.
And Reynolds pulls out ALL the stops in this very R-rated big screen adventure, delivering heavy doses of violence, racy dialogue, sex and nudity.
Our screening audience loved it!
For the non- super hero fan, Deadpool is a welcome respite from the genre. For actual fans it’s guaranteed repeat viewing.
The fun starts right at the top of the movie during the credits and ends—you guessed it—with one final scene worth waiting for AFTER the end credits have rolled past.
Finally, about the R rating—it’s a hard one!
Here’s how the MPAA ratings board describes the film:
“DEADPOOL–rated R for strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity.”
My grade: B+
Hmmmmm. Not one single mention of T.J. Miller. I thought Glazer said it was “his” movie. Yes, T.J. Miller is in the movie. It is not “his” movie. It is Ryan Reynolds’ movie.
Yeah TJ is nothing…he is the costar of the movie as I always said w/ Ryan Reynolds jealous hater, but thanks for asking. Lets see TJ did Super Bowl commercial one of the best. hosted Critics awards…a real nobody you are right…what he makes in a month is more than you’ll see in a couple years…book it Dano…thanks for asking…

PSS HE IS MY MOST BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD SO NANNY NANNY BOO BOO TO YOU JEALOUS HATER
Now thats funny…I find it interesting that there are so many tie ins to us with current stories on people, places and things all over America. Yet we or rather I am such a bad guy and all…odd huh. OH well.
I never said that T.J. was nothing, that was you but thanks for playing you insecure man-child. Three responses to a throw away post? Thanks for playing you insecure man-child. You also said in the past that he was the star of Get Him to the Greek. He had less than a minute of screen time on that but thanks for playing insecure man-child. I never, until now, have used the word “hate”. You do constantly but thanks for playing insecure man-child. You have no idea what my monetary status is but thanks for playing you insecure man-child.
Again I did not say star he was IN those films, tons of them….TJ IS JUST NOW BECOMING A STAR. HE DOES STAR IN Silicon Valley…you are right bout one thing I should not respond to such comments. I see them daily…as Hearne says and others…people who like you or the subject usually don’t comment to you or anyone else..just people who want to start crap…always the way it is for many reasons…so in that regard you are correct..bottom line TJ has been a Stanfords guy, nice person, doing very well and now will move on to the Midland and maybe Spring one day way it goes.
Thank YOU for playing, insecure man-child (×3).
I’d rather go to the Dentist.
jack writes a nice movie review.
fn guy and glazer use this comment box as a digital crapper, flushing the waste out to the rest of us.
chuck chimes in with obvious disdain for the character, movie, or both. uncharacteristically vague for chuck. ignores spat between cg and fng.
i follow along with dispassionate review of the proceedings to this point, with only a hint of sarcasm.
sounds like a presidential debate!
Uh huh. DEADPOOL BROKE ALL BOXOFFICE RECORDS WITH 140 MILLION THIS WEEKEND. TJ is, was and always will be the co star of the movie. He is DEADPOOLS, Ryan Reynolds partner in the movie. MILLER will go on to be the next Adam Sandler. He is really the only comedy movie star at 33 in the biz so gets it all now, everyone else that isn’t overweight or too old is not going to get those parts.
I am a bit surprised Jack missed the TJ role in his review. Be that is it may look for Miller who is on everything now, next at the Midland, I think his club days are at an end. I’m proud of him and his becoming NOW one of the brightest stars in comedy, tv and film. Nice.
OK Craig, you got me.
I guess I stuck with Ryan Reynolds primarily because he’s been the backbone of this project from day one—and that’s been many moons ago…..
T.J. Miller gave a fine performance in the film just as many others in the cast did. And let’s not forget director Tim Miller who kept the movie MOVING!
Agreed. I just thought with all the attention on Miller you would have mentioned him, thats all. When they do number 2 and they will TJ will be back in the same ‘buddy’ partner role. I’m sure. His paydays will be crazy. Good for him. He is on everything now.
Should be interesting exactly WHO will be doing # 2.
20th Century-Fox again???????
Rumors have it that Disney would like to have the ENTIRE Marvel universe back under one roof.
Glaze: here’s what you should have said. why fight people on this?
Our very very good friend TJ Millers recent movie “Deadpool” is doing great boxoffice numbers and could be one of the top hit movies of the year.
We are honored to consider him a very very close friend and even a member of our family. His career is starting to skyrocket and includes starring in one of the highest rated super bowl commercials in 2016 and a growing list of upcoming movie titles.
We are also honored to have been part of his early career with his appearances at our comedy location as he has moved up the ladder and we believe he is headed to superstar status. He made a special appearance at our theatre in honor of our brother and has been a headliner with us ___ times. We have watched him become a huge name and feel grateful to have been a part of his booming on stage and camera
career. We wish him great success in the future.
drop the attacks on others. Either they are trying to pull your chain or just
trying to do what tony’s commenters have done on his site.
Have some fun…as I have always said..kcc is for fun and entertainment….and be
humble. Your friend Harley. And stick to what you know best.
