haha… bernie sanders. well, with a white ‘stasch he might look like that shake & bake, fake-ass, abomination of a spokesperson they want you to believe represents Col. Sanders. who the hell cast that milquetoast, pretend southerner anyway? the ad agency who created that piece of crap should be fired, along with the director, writer, “talent”, and most of all, the idiot at kfc who bought into it and approved it, or came up with the idea himself and was, sadly, able to convince everyone it was a killer idea.
oh, i get it, yes,yes,yes. aside from grasping at straws they think their target market won’t have strong associations with the real Col., so this flatass, nasally, wet noodle with a fake moustache will work fine! besides (and i swear i can hear them say this), it’s about the connection… it’s all about the braaaanding! conjur up the Col. and re-energize the brand!!
folks, the real Col. Sanders is crapping a bucket load of mashed potatos, gravy, and corn… but not because of the bad casting job. because kfc sucks now and they are ruining his good, proud name, image… and legacy. with a cartoon, no less.

oh, it was last night.
but yes, I was kinda was. actually surprised myself at how strongly I felt about that fake Col. Sanders. but when I first saw the commercial, I thought it was wrong on several levels…. probably because I remember the real Col. Sanders and I was having a you-kids-get-off-my-lawn moment. when I saw it the second time, I realized how horribly BAD that Col. was.
like I said… fire the agency and the guy in charge of KFC, and just fix the damn chicken correctly. for years, Sanders actually trained employees when each new store opened. they did it right for dozens of years. they can do it again.
