In December, readers of TMZ were treated to the shocking headline, “I’m Not in the NFL Because I’m Gay,” so insinuated former Missouri star defensive end Michael Sam…
“I think I was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year last year,” Sam told TMZ. “So I don’t think it had to do with talent.”
This month’s TMZ headline was more promising, sort of, for the would-be Jackie Robinson of gayness. “I JUST SIGNED!!! With ‘Dancing With The Stars.'”
Now there’s a headline that will have NFL general managers speed dialing Sam’s agent. Or not. Even TMZ, not exactly an insider sport hotspot, saw a problem brewing:
“Sam needs to prove he has what it takes, and we’re thinkin’ some of the owners might question his commitment if he’s focusing on the rumba rather than rumbling.”
The bottom line is this: If you have an arm like Joe Namath you can be “Broadway Joe.” If you have legs and hands like Deion Sanders, you can be “Prime Time.”
Traditionally, in the NFL, you get to be a media darling only AFTER you’re proved yourself on the field.
From the moment Sam cake-kissed KC’s own Little Vito on national TV, he’s been doing it all backwards.
Left unsaid by TMZ is whether Sam will be dancing backwards as well.

A simple Google search would reveal that Michael Sam will be dancing with Peta Murgatroyd. The least you could do for a “news” site is try to keep up to date and try to do some research before your misinformed rantings.
Steele’s comment about dancing backwards was obviously a facetious one and had nothing to do with naming or reporting on with whom he might be paired with, Greedo.
It must be a ton of fun hiding out behind a fake name and policing websites for imaginary mistakes.
Far be it from me to suggest that you get a life, but I do think a sense of humor would be a worthy addition
