Florida has not been kind to our Chiefs…
We haven’t won but a couple games in the entire state over the last 30 years. Yikes. The Miami Dolphins are favored to beat our Chiefs by 4. That sounds about right. Both teams have many injured starters. The Chiefs have lost 5 staters including Derrick Johnson, Jamaal Charles and Mike DeVito…but whose counting?
The team was already pretty bad before the injuries.
Now they’re even worse. However they did play well last week with quarterback Alex Smith showing some determination not to be the NFL’s worst team and to try and win a game or two this year.
I now think the Chiefs may win a few yet.
They’re still going stink though.
I like Miami in a close game as two bad teams battle it out.
On a brighter note, Missouri looks very good again this season and will be the local team to follow. And MU will make it four straight with a win over Indiana Saturday.
Kansas is looking for maybe one more win, two tops.

– it’s worse than that, CG. The Chiefs have won 3 games in Miami since 1968 ended. Nod Haley’s “any 22 guys from off the street could win two games” in a single season, any Chiefs roster in 44 years since the 1960’s ended has won only 3 there.
KC won every game they ever played vs the Dolphins 1966 – 1969, even shutting out Miami twice in a single season, 6-0 over three years with three W’s coming in Miami.
As faded Chiefs glory days, how times change. KC’s first ever loss Miami was also the day our ‘football Rome’ burned to the ground while our team fiddled, 1971 Christmas Day game bringing coal in the stocking & a now nigh on 45 year curse.

seem better on your end…and when you lose you base it on the teaser
points…when you lose one…you lose both. Period…the teaseaffects both
teams you take…go to the window and tell the teller you want to be paid
after you lose one of the two games and they’ll kick you out of the joint.
The tease is on two games…not one…you buy into the points and the house
gets back their points by making you win two games. You don’t get it.
If you want to do a game by game pick do that….but the books make you
win both games…not one…in the tease…in exchange you get the move the
point spread. So your being 70% is absolutely 100% wrong.
