As seen in the photos of Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton in Ferguson, they can have the effect of making people very enthusiastic, dedicated and willing to make sacrifices in the fight against racism…
However a gift like that is a double edged sword because just as they should fight against racism, they should also fight against criminal activity by people who use racism as an excuse for gangster activity.
I’m referring to the looting and destroying of property in Ferguson.
Don’t get me wrong; Jackson and Sharpton are needed in the fight against racism.
Just as labor union leaders are needed to ensure workers are treated fairly. However, those two must be criticized for not taking a firm, public stand against the gangster actions by looters in Ferguson, Mo.
Reverend Jackson walked with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights protests of the ’60s, so he understands non-violent philosophy. And so Jackson’s not vehemently opposing the looting going on is not right.
Sharpton was criticized for being too quick to blame the Duke Lacrosse players in 2006 and other incidents where the victims were found to be lying.
And now for him not to stand up and announce that he’s made some mistakes as well as not coming out against the looting in Ferguson diminishes his reputation.
It also degrades the good both men have done in the past and what they could be doing.
That’s just Common Sense.
It would be great if they held a news conference and encouraged law enforcement to arrest the looters and see that they’re prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
The positive feedback of that action would help the world view Jackson and Sharpton in the light of being against wrong doing no matter who the wrongdoers are.
Because the criminals who are looting have no concept of the sacrifices small business owners make to start their businesses and keep them going, while striving to feed their families and be successful. Insurance in nine out of 10 cases does not cover rioting, so where are these owners going to get the capital to rebuild their businesses?
The criminal element is a parasite in our society today and has no place in the fight against racism.
Looters are criminals, period.
Society doesn’t want to hear how the looters’ parents were bad, how they’ve had trouble getting jobs because of no education (ossibly because they were too busy in class causing trouble and hindering those who did want to get an education), were raised in a bad part of town and never learned right from wrong.
In today’s America those reasons don’t hold up, because they don’t make Common Sense.
Everybody should feel sorry for the business owners who now have to clean up the destruction left behind by the looters.

Jackson and Sharpton are the last thing needed in a racially volatile situation. The incite and incense. Just as the Jews in Jacksons Hymie town, the Lacrosse players at Duke, or anyone in the Tawana Brawley debacle.

How much money do you have to make to be able to afford to pay $10,000.00 a month plus to support your illegitimate child like Jackson does?
Both of them are needed in Ferguson? Really? For what? To hustle more money, shakedown more coporations get their irrelevant faces back in the news? What have these two attention whores and scam artists done to help the Ferguson situation in any way and how are they any different than the other thieves who are taking advantage of the situation to loot and steal?
