Google is trying to land some local sports team’s broadcasts and outbid Time Warner Cable.  We’re all hoping this leads to the eventual purchase of the Kansas City Royals.

Finally some good news for Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin.  He is now slightly more popular than NFL referees!

Kansas State University president Kirk Schulz wants everyone to refer to the school as Kansas State UNIVERSITY.  Calling the school “K-State” was a tradition started by students who had trouble with five-syllable words.

 Scientists now believe warp drive – a term made popular in science fiction shows – is indeed possible.  They came to the conclusion after one week of studying me in bed.

Forty-two American Airlines workers could lose their jobs at KCI as part of a giant budget cut by the carrier.  So, how’s that charging more for luggage thing working for you guys?

Expect congestion at KCI over the next six weeks as construction is underway to repair the Terminal A loop.  A sum of $920,000 was approved by the same people who approved $20 million to spruce up Kemper Arena.

 Mitt Romney is now trailing President Obama among senior citizens.  I know this because I listened to Madonna‘s rant the other day.
