With our Off The Couch Bracket Challenge well underway, I thought it might be appropriate to let you know what the top three finishers will receive. I am currently tied for 38th with Brian Williams, who I am sure took time out of anchoring the NBC nightly news to participate. Some of KCC’s most valued sponsors stepped up and sweetened the swag for our best ball pickers. Here is the breakdown…- 1st place: $100 gift certificate to Jardine’s Restaurant and Jazz Club at 4536 Main in KC, MO for some of the best quality dining and entertainment in Kansas City.
- 2nd place: $50 at the Westport Flea Market for KC’s best-known and most loved burger. Also not a bad place to talk to strangers w/o the hassle of an Internet connection.
- 3rd place: $25 at Waldo’s swank and swell The Well. Also known as Kent Babb’s favorite place to attempt to shed his single status.
In addition to these fabulous prizes, Craig Glazer himself (yes, THAT Craig Glazer – a triple-threat combination of Fabio, The Fonz and Ponce de Leon) has tossed in floor seats for the top three winners to an upcoming show at Stanford’s Comedy Club in The Legends at Village West.
