The Kansas City Chiefs asked fans to be in their seats by 8:35 p.m. for “Monday Night Football” at Arrowhead Stadium, so I was in my seat by 8:35 p.m. for “Monday Night Football” at Arrowhead Stadium.
randyraley The stadium looked great on TV, and like I remember it. Say what you will about Arrowhead, I’ll take it in a heartbeat to what we have here in beautiful downtown St. Louis. While it’s only one game, there was actually passion displayed on the field. It’s been a long time. In one game this year, I saw heart. Didn’t see much of that last year. Lifelong (since age 12) Chiefs fans here and will continue to be.
Ryan Pregame show very overhyped. If you sit at east end of stadium (lower level) you cannot hear anything coming out of sound system. All we could see was Riggle’s solemn face with lips moving. Crowd was great.
TigerVIP I thought the stadium was nicely done inside. Especially the club level area. Very nice and conducive to a nice fun party atmosphere.
Where I believe the chiefs and the royals missed the boat on the renovations was the outside of the stadiums. Too much of the 70’s style concrete is exposed. A nice brick surrounding those concrete areas would give the appearance of a new stadium and a high-class look. To me it’s similar to what they tried to do to Kemper on the outside and yet you still have the tired old 70’s look of concrete everywhere.

Quite a bazaar spectacle. Sounds just like a Christine O’Donnell stump speech!

Hey Deez Nutz,
Chiefs games ARE a gay bathhouse. Full of drunken redneck rubes dressed in red.

Saw Rob Riggle at Stanford and Sons about a year ago. Very funny.

Would have been nice to see the kick off…instead of technical difficulties….
