We was in Vegas last week and in the Hotel Bar Holly came on the TV screen. We all know her from watching Family Guy in KC at the station but ofcouse we watch family guy just to watch her. It was surreal to see her on tv there doing something different but still smokin hot. . Is she still doing stuff for the Chiefs? On this beautiful Sunday morning I am enjoying reading positive comments about a truly beautiful young lady — on a site that clearly likes to bash women. Holly is a contributing author for our magazine. Since she has come on board, we have gotten more response, all of which is great regarding her character and her articles. She is a gifted, articulate writer and her talents far exceed most not only here in the Midwest (where “smartman” likes to refer to all things as hick backwash. To him, everything seems bigger, better and more important everywhere else. We can all hope that some day he outgrows that insecurity. As for Holly, enjoy her strong core of good qualities, God given talents, and be proud she is from our home town.

funniest show ever….vegas at the old riviera
hotel.
Last time was at the improv up north. Just
after he announced he had cancer…probably another of the funniestt shows I’d ever seen.
The man lived thru so much hardship and strain
in his life. Beat cancer…was awaiting a liver
transplant…heart attacks….and some tough
times but thru it all he was upbeat.
You probably have some great stories about all
the great comics who you help start their careers…that would make for a great column.

He worked at Westport in the late 90’s two different weeks, once he brought his dad in with him. A wonderful man, a great, great comic. Under rated, he will be missed by all of us, he deserved better than he got.
b as far as female comics, as you may know we book more than almost anyone does of the A plus clubs. Eliza will be here this fall, Whiney was sched. for late summer and had to cancel due to a tv appearance, will be back, we have many others….Lyne Koplitz,Karen Ronwski,April Macie,Dana Eagle, Kira Soltanovich and Mrs. Ralphie May Launa Turner to name just some, for this year…so we are on it….thank you..by the way if and when you come b, ask for me love to meet you…you too JoJo.
