I agree with you on Nick Wright. He’s more concerned about bringing others down, rather than elevating his own image. Hell be gone by this time next year.

    ___

GH: I think Nick is just young and prone to making errors like a lot of us in our early years of our chosen profession. I don

you would think after his notre dame experience charlie weis might have reconsidered the magnitude of his wonderfulness. but more importantly, santa claus doesn’t live at the north pole? yikes.

GH: I doubt the 810 source “made up” the asthma report.

Are you freaking kidding me? Do you really doubt that 810 would “make up” something or are you being a bit “tongue in cheek”?

You should consider a switch to AT&T. I was recently dragged, kicking and screaming, into AT&T and away from Time Warner for my cable, internet and phone bundle. But I’m glad now. More channels, lower cost, and fewer glitches in the cable service. You won’t get Metro Sports, but then who watches Metro Sports?

Jack should of smacked the taste right out of Wright’s mouth. What a little punk.

old jack gets a good left from the young spunky
kid. Love it. Hope jack takes it easy out in this
heat so he doesnt keel over like the guy who
was in jacks place before. KSHB doesnt have anyone waiting to take over jacks spot if he
    keels over…they better…that heat can
    make that old man hurt.
Ilove the kid…he’s got spunk…something the
old old guys in radio and tv don’t have
Jacks a big man on tv when noones in his face..
but when the young kid shows him up in front
of the chiefs staff he makes jack look old and
    tired.
Good for wright and 610. They get good coverage
of the cheifs camp…really its boring…and
they kick some ass while in st. joe.
Do you think the chiefsw staff likes old man
    jack…hell no…the guys a big mouth when
noones around…but lets see him mouth off
in front of the players or staff and get his
    bell rung.
Way to go 610…way tro go wright…you showed
that old codger u[p by making him look like the
    back stabbing loser he is.

I guarantee little hunt told charlie to do it
    his way…forget about haley.
Before its over and when charlies gets the
offense moving..look for haley to be on way
    out.
If anyone thinks romeo and charlie were brought
in to strictly be coaches you are 100% wrong.
They were brought in to take this haley guys
    job….thats a fact.
And hall…wrights not a dick. Jack Hairy makes
fun of everyone and insults everyone. He
deserves to be the brunt of insults once in a
    while…he’s just a hanger on…..and he
    is working cheap……..

Metro Sports carries many Mizzou basketball games in the non con. That’s the main reason why I don’t want to go to AT&T.

don’t know why, but I was listening to Nick Whitlock yesterday afternoon instead of KK. Of course he played the race card indirectly and then called everybody stupid for bringing it up. Hey Nick Whitlock, calling your audienece stupid isn’t a great way to keep them

Nick Wright makes my ears bleed every single time I attempt to listen to his sorry ass on the radio. His voice is BEYOND annoying, and he clearly has no idea of what he’s doing when he interviews prominent athletes and/or front office people. Entercom should seriously consider replacing him with Roger Twibell…and yes, I’m not kidding. In the meantime, Kietzman (who in his own right is getting tougher and tougher to listen to) will continue to blow the doors off of Wright’s pud-pulling gig until he gets whacked, just like all the others before him.

It will truly be a sad day for jojo when Wright is sent packing….as Hannibal Smith said time and time again, “I LOVE IT when a plan comes together!”

I’m not a huge Wright fan but as I’ve said before he will be successful. If not here in KC, somewhere else. He is unique and that will get him places.

Harry can dish it out pretty good but doesn’t seem to take it very well. Good for Wright.

It’s going to be fun watching what happens between Weis and Haley. Who wins … the fat man or the golf bum?

Nick Wright seems like a very smart guy and serious about becoming a successful sports talker. When I listen, he seems very open-minded and fair to callers. And he doesn’t sound anywhere near as blustery as some of the guys on 810. Plus he’s got a good, dry sense of humor…something that I think is SEVERELY lacking in KC sports talk.

But, frankly, I think he just sound TOO young and hip for most KC sports radio listneres, who’ve grown accustomed to hearing Petro, KK, Clinkscale, Boal, Harlan, Weber, Holtzhus and Harry….all very talented and informative, but also all VERY serious, long-winded, and in many cases dull.

Sadly, I don’t think Wright’s gonna best 810 anytime soon, but I hope 610 keeps him around at least a few years to see if he can pull in more listeners. I like how he tries to mix in a little comedy and non-sports takes…it’s a refreshing alternative to 810.

Somebody suggested bringing Roger Twibell….ha…..really? He’s THE poster child of serious and long-winded radio hosts. I could not listen to that guy.

Anyone REALLY belive TWC and ESPN are going to part ways? Please. Way too much money for either side to leave on the table. A deal will get done. Maybe not by the deadline, but they’ll simply extend the deadline until the deal gets done, just like they did with Viacom when their contract with TWC was up. I’ve seen this movie before. ESPN isn’t leaving TWC.
