I think that was $750,000,000. As in, three-quarters of a billion. If she only got $750k from Tiger, he has Satan himself serving as his lawyer.

    ____

GH: Yep, needed to add another set of zeros. Thanks.

Greg the Royals are a hard team ot figure or even watch. Their numbers, best batting average, good starting pitching, one of baseballs best relievers..would lead one to believe they could contend or at least be over .500. This series with the Sox likely sealed their fate of 20l0. A below average baseball team again. I had some hope til they got swept that this team could show up…thats now gone…just a jinxed team I think. Still NOBODY THAT SCARES YOU on this ballclub on either side of the deal, hitting or ptiching, nobody.

It looks like we are ready to trade MM for an “Ed Hearn” player, or an aging pitcher to help us make the playoffs this year.

I heard Wright yesterday promoting the Roylz. Sounded like the sales staff needed someone to promote listening to the games.

Thing is. I like baseball. Period.

I like going to the park, knocking back a couple of beers, eating food that’s bad for me, and having professionals play baseball.

I realize I’m in the minority.

But I remember my youth when the guys who made up the ’85 Roylz were coming up and getting better and the owner, y’know, gave a damn.

I’m not sure waiting for “Moose” to get to The Show next year is in the team’s best interest. (And “Moose” seemed to work out okay for Skowran.)

Sutcliffe was talking about the bombs Moustakas was hitting in batting practice. Calling him Bonds’ like. I liked how Hosmer was hitting the ball to all fields also. I’m excited for the Royals’ future

Check out the home and away splits with Moustakas. It isn’t very pretty. He is hitting .437 at home and .230 on the road. His OPS is 1.379 at home and .739 on the road. It works like this for all his other major stats too. He is a product of a bandbox ballpark. I will believe it when I see it. Gordon put up pretty damn good numbers in Wichita and we see what he has been like in KC.

    ___

GH: True, the disparity between his home and away stats is troubling. But he sure seems to have the rest of the Dbl-A league’s respect. I think the kid is a player…and if he only hits .400 at The K, I can live with that.

Am I wrong here. It just seems all our great stats, are just that, STATS. IN a real game situation our ‘stars’ rarely come through. How many of Guillen’s home runs mean absolutely nothing, almost all of them, only a couple won a game or two. He usually homers like yesterday up ten runs or down ten, meaningless…though this year in his defense he’s had a couple key hits..not alot. Butler, Dejusus, same thing, not enough meaningful at bats, when the winning run is out there…pitching, Bannister can throw a two hitter and come back with a stinker at any time, as with ALL our starters…we are just not consistent anywhere.

bullshit. Moore and yost will kill this kid.
He can’t hit…and moore and yost are the last
    guys to realize this.
Moore couldnt find a decent player if his life
    depended on it.
Glass gives him 70 million and he blows it on
aging/over the hill players who crap out here
    in kc.
Face it…noone wants to play here. If a player
has any passion for winning he won’t come here.
If he has any brains or skills he won’t come
    here.
    Rick ankial…crisp…guillen…are dopgs…
add to that meche etc….and moore has done a
    terrible job.
    Play 500 ball in 2011? Wow…thats somwthing
to shoot for. Play 375 ball in 2010…wow
    thats something to shoot for.
Glass doesnt care and he’s wasting time with
    moore and yost.
If yost was a great manager prospect how come noone or no team grabbed thsi “great” manager.
He’s the best we can get because noone wants
to come here to coach…noone wants to work
    for these clowns.
Its goi0ng to be a long decade here in kc…
i love baseball and the royals but until we
really change the management here its just
    another year of AAA ball.
    This moutsakas greek….he’ll crap out…AA
ball he can hit the ball…wow…bring the kid
up and ruin him like they did with gordon.
    MOORE…YOST….SEITZER….YOU COULD GET RID
OF THESE CLOWNS AND STILL PLAY 500 BALL…SO
WHY KEEP THEM….TAKE A SHOT WITH ANOTHER
MANAGER AND GM….WE’VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE EXCEPT MAYBE 5 YEARS WAITING TO FIRE ALL 3
OF TGHESE CLOWNS BEGFORE WE REALIZE THEY
    ARE ALL 3 MISTAKES…………

Gee Craig Glazer why don’t you just blow your brains out or else find another team to shit on. No body really cares what your stupid ass thinks. The people of KC love the Royals and you don’t count. Isn’t your wife giving you enough good pussy or is she just giving it all away to the neighbor? I know I like the way she has trained her tongue.
