So many Insane Clown Posse concert venues, so few actual shows…
As recently as Monday – two short days ago, to be exact – the Insane Clown Posse concert wilding was slated to go down at the Capital Federal Park at Sandstone. No mas. On Tuesday a press release was issued that the show would play the Beaumont Club in Westport. In all likelihood to accommodate a smaller than anticipated crowd.
“I’d be surprised if they played there,” former Beaumont Club main man Bill Nigro said yesterday upon being told of the switch.
That’s because Nigro had to cleanup after the Posse played there nine years ago unleashing more than 40 giant bottles of suary soda on the crowd before blasting the joint with glitter cannons.
However, playing outdoors in the Beaumont’s Backyard would allow the elements to wash things clean.
Turns out Nigro was correct in his assessment.
“Due to the controversial nature of this event, the show has been relocated to Memorial Hall in Kansas City Kansas,” reads an email release this afternoon.
Complete with the tour’s Juggalo Chamionship (formerly “Championshit”) Wrestling card.
May the force be with the hall’s cleanup crew!
The Independent Rage
They should bring in a few of the old All-Star Wrestling stars to make cameos. I know that Gypsy Joe still wrestles, even though dude is pushing 80. Harley Race is right over in Eldon, Missouri, and runs a wrestling school. MEB (aka Rick Link) still wrestles as well. And how about Shiek Abdullah the Great, the deranged man everyone loved to hate. The possibilities are endless.

Well, Bob Geigel is appearing at the Metro Pro show at Memorial on 6/5, maybe others will come in the future.
