Mark, you are a midwestern treasure–thanks for checking all of this out for me, and for anyone else who makes it a point to go to see at least a couple of Broadway shows a year–and then catch some as they travel through here, as well.
I trust your judgment, Mark—you obviously have the empressario’s eye for musical theatre. Just as you did on your review of Venice, last month here with Eric Rosen’s premiere for KC Rep.
It’s obvious you spend a fortune on travel, and then lavish many hours getting your facts straight. For that, the KC theatre crowd is very grateful. Thank you.

Yes, Mark, we look forward to your handicapping of the Tonys! I hope you got to see Ragtime, which was a surprisingly great revival of a huge show. So huge it couldn’t run for long. But it featured my good buddy Bobby Steggert who has been nominated for a Supporting Actor Tony. I hope he is high on your list.
