WORST OSCARS EVER. BORING. OUT OF SYNC. LONG.
DRAWN OUT. NO FUN. MARTIN AND BALDWIN WERE THE
WORST HOSTS EVER. THEY WERE OUT OF SYNC AND SHOULD HAVE PRACTICED THEIR LINES BEFORE
GOING ON. THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT
THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY SPOKE. AND
TIMING WAS HORRENDOUS.
Where were the past stars? JackNicholson?
Cruise? all the big time hollywood stars who
add some fun to the show?
We turned to pay per view and watched Couples
Retreat. Great movie. Lots of laughs.
Maybe next year they can do the whole oscar show
on line..
And that guy on E…the gay fashion critic with the
loud coat….where did this nut case come from?

First off, we ALWAYS SAY THE SHOW IS BOING…of course cause its long, too long, but lots of awards. They once tried doing smaller awards seperately but everyone bitched that was not cool or fair, I ageed. Having been to two awards shows, 89/90, its even longer when you are there. You have to be there about one hour early, and with commercials its a five hour deal. I spent most of the time in the ABC bar with my pal who took me, Sonny Landham(48 hrs. and Preditor). You have to be a member to get tix. Then you have to pre buy and be picked, more members then seats. You used to be able to scalp tix for 2,000 to 7500 pending on where they were…no more, they ask for I.D. and check seats, you get caught selling them and you are kicked out of academy. You can make arrangements for family with your “tix.”
P.S. are you sick of hearing the word…AMAZING, EVERYTHING IS…AMAZING, in every interview.
Hurt Locker won everything cause the academy is very Patriotic and it was a war movie while we are at war…clearly the movie that got screwed was Inglorious Bastards, best pic, best screenplay and easily best director Tarentino.
Worst thing about being at awards…not being involved, notice 90 per cent of actors there are nominated or presenting, or last years winner. Nobody just goes, maybe if you have a big movie comming out soon. To be a member, you now must be nominated, used to be kinda easy to get in, two members nominate you and you have ‘one credit’…not hard…now, YOU have to be nominated. Other folks there are agents, mgrs. and studio execs and press….still I had fun, back in the day…it was the year Danzel won best supporting actor for “Glory.”

Glazer, you are right, AMAZING, must have been said a thousand times by the stars. I thought that too, and I agree Bastards was the best movie by far. Dino, what is with you dude, the guy is giving us insight into the event, I never knew. I didn’t know how you got tickets, or who got them and why, so how is this ‘all about Glazer.’ Anyways good points my man.
