Daddy Henry needs to shut his mouth post haste. Comes off like a babbling, self-absorbed fool. He’s one more foot in the mouth comment away from having KU fans boo every time one of his kids touches the ball this season.

Carl Henry’s denial of everything (other than being father of Xavier and C.J.) isn’t especially surprising, but this little oft-used nugget — as quoted by a web site — made me smile: “a friend of mine in Kansas City read me a lot of what was printed.”
I suspect if one is going to shoot his mouth off on the content of a story, maybe it would be worth a couple of minutes to read the story one’s self on the Star’s web site. Unless, of course, one is illiterate.
The days when subjects of stories can get away with the old saw that they had to find out what it said second-hand has passed, since only a few small newspapers are not web-accessible. Unless, of course, that person is functionally illiterate. So, to be charitable, I’ll assume Mr. Henry is unable to read rather than too lazy to check the story himself or too stupid to believe anybody would think he hadn’t read an article from the major newspaper in the media market in which his sons will launch their rise to fame as basketball superstars.

No way. Not one of these radio or tv people
would make it in a top 25 market. Amateur
at best not one of them can evaluate any
sport. Those clowns at 610 need to go back to
playing fantasy football. They are not only
boring but wrong 90%of the time.

Time to roll out the “N” word for Daddy Henry and sons….NINCOMPOOP! They should make a reality show out of this. Call it Sanford and SONS. Seems like Daddy Henry and the boys have got a lot of junk to sell.
