ksd Great piece, Brian. Im so sad about his early death. Even though his career has clearly been over for some time and he led a very questionable life, we can not forget his music made him an american icon. His influence on pop culture is revolutionary.
Dexter Morgan Nobody has been interested in praising Michael Jackson for 15+ years but the minute the guy kicks the bucket everyone starts shouting from the rooftops how much they admired and respected his talent.
craig glazer Once again we learn that having it all fame, fortune and power usually does not end well..Elvis,Ali,Monroe,and so on…there have been a few that lived all that well, Eastwood,Wayne and Sinatra…so what do we learn from this….we all still want fame and fortune…history repeats itself…Jackson was a monster talent growing up in a traggic world created by his own family…I doubt he had much happiness and yes he did some awful things….in the end it killed him
rick I disagree Brian I think 50 years from now Michael will still be remembered for his weirdness. And trust me now that he is dead the TELL ALL books will start coming out. He’ll become more wierd once we learn the WHOLE STORY. Just like with Elvis. I can assure you at least one tell all will be out within 10 days.
Craig I’m not following you? Ali? He has a disease. Why is he in the same sentence as Elvis and Monroe? Wayne smoked himself to death. Did you read the George Jones review…Sinatra was very much the same mumbling words to songs he couldn’t remember. It didn’t end well. Family in fighting also. And your comment about Michael “in the end it killed him” HUH??? Being a pedophilia killed him? What r u talking about? I think we will learned drugs and his anorexia killed him.
