   I don’t like that local sports hosts are hired by the teams they cover to work for them. It causes them to be less critical when covering them. Petro and Bukaty on 810 always tiptoe through their criticism of the Chiefs or Royals. Either be a talk show host or work for the team but not both.

   Matthew Stafford is going to make David Carr look like Joe Montana. I’ll give Pioli the benefit of the doubt but I question if the Hoodie would have agreed with the pick. The Chiefs should be improved to 5-11 this year. At that rate I see the playoffs in sight by 2013.

   I found it interesting that 810 was able to play the live phone presser with Tyson while at the same time 610 was playing about 5 minutes of commercials.

   BOTTOM LINE, had this been a CARL/HERM draft, boy would they have gotten ripped up…no doubt it seems at best fair, doesn’t look like many future stars in this one, maybe one or none…so…we just keep hoping Scott/Todd know something we don’t, love the Matt deal, don’t like too much since, he needs weapons, right now he has NONE, he needs help,RIGHT NOW he has little to none…the defense looks better at linebacker, not sure about the line, looks poor,so far not much help….BUY SOME PLAYERS SCOTT/TODD…remember Atlanta is picked by many to be the team to beat in the NFC, they have proven it doesn’t take 25 years to rebuild, just one or two with good moves….so far, outside of Matt the new guys get a C
