News sources say Charlie Sheen will announce he is HIV positive to the world tomorrow…
Oh boy.
He’s known about it for several years according to media sources. We’ll get more details tomorrow, but the rumor’s been out there for some time. Sheen has been the total party boy for several years and his wild behavior escalated a couple years back to the point that he was fired from his smash hit series TWO AND A HALF MEN. The show went on without him for a brief period, but is now off the air. Sheen went on to star in the series ANGER MANAGEMENT.

Everyone’s upset about Sheen sleeping around with so many women who undoubtedly didn’t know he had the disease. Of course, it can kill you – which it has with many who contracted the illness in the 80’s and 90’s. While the disease has kinda fallen off the map as of late, it still is associated with name stars like Tommy Morrison who died of AIDS just over a year ago.
The other famous person who has lived with it for 20 years is Magic Johnson.
Morrison never acknowledged or accepted having the illness and took no meds to cure it and he eventually died. Magic is seemingly in good health having followed doctors orders and taking new meds that seem to either abate the damage.
But Charlie is the biggest name in entertainment to contract HIV.
His crazy drug and sex escapades are legendary. Did actress/wife Denise Richards know? I doubt it. I liked Sheen for battling back after his fall. His roast was great, but having HIV and not letting your sex partners know is just plain terrible.
Details are still coming in so let’s see what the official story ends up being. For now it’s a shocker and bad news for Sheen and his lady friends…and who knows who else.

Tommy Morrison was Kah rah aay Zee!! and he was crazy way before he got infected with HIV. I think his mom killed his dad’s lover. I think Tommy never had anything close to a normal childhood, he was taught to fight and along with getting hit in the head A LOT he got addicted to sex. Sooo, after bedding every skank in town Tommy caught HIV..and because he was crazy addicted to sex he would not admit to his HIV status. He was a trainwreck, he’d be at lunch with a couple of guys and out of the blue pop one guy in the nose, breaking it into a bloody pulp-WEIRD.
After Tommy died from AIDS a woman who befriended him a few years back was interviewed and she said something like “what goes around comes around”. Man he was messed up.

Cue the world wide apology tour and the apotheosis of another Hollywood hero.
By the way, if God was on his thrown in a Christian Heaven, then Charlie would be giving what will be an apology of an apology to George Stephanopoulos, who ability to dissemble is as famous as Charlie’s life.
I believe Sheen is simply a guy who got famous and rich too soon. His career as an actor has been on fire for most of his life. He got bored and we see the result, seems to happen more with stars who are on top at an early age and stay there. Or not. There are few Ronnie Howards out there.
I think Chuck makes a good point. Sheen will now spend much of his golden years doing the I’m sorry tour and what not to do for young people…sounds like a cop out but might help some younger folks see the light.
Sheen lived the American dream. Movie and TV star, huge money, lifestyle of the rich and famous for decades, famous family, a charity prince, women, women, women….and all the toys. It came with the usual drugs, booze and heartache. You can shake your head but in a strange way it is most of ‘The American Dream’ or nightmare…it never seems to end well, most things in life don’t.
In life we enjoy the ride not the end of the ride. The sunset is rarely a dream, we get old, sick, often lonely and thats even if you are rich and famous. It’s not pretty most of the time. How can it be, you’re old and dying.

Thanks guys, I never pay past dinner, drinks and ok maybe some gas money if they don’t drive.
